Adv of Miss Lilly's Tavern...13

In the distance, she could hear Miss Lily talking with a new girl.  Had she
ever been that young and innocent?  With her drawers stuffed inside of her,
holding in Slade's seed, she couldn't remember.  

She thought about the first time she and Jake had made love.

She'd stood there in her high-necked, white cotton nightgown as Jake had come
through the hotel door.  This one night in the hotel was their honeymoon
before they had to resume work at their ranch.

Shy and uncertain, she waited for him to make a comment or gesture that would
tell everything was all right.  All Mama had told her was to put the nightgown
and God would take care of the rest.  Don't worry, it only lasts for a few
minutes, so that's all the pain you have to endure.  All the talk about pain
and blood scared her.

Without a word, Jake walked over and stood in front of her, as one hand gently
touched her cheek.  "Don't worry.  It's going to be okay."

"I just don't want it to hurt," she whispered.

With a muffled oath, Jake took off his shirt, leaving his jeans unbuttoned at
the waist.  He pulled off his boots, then stretched out on the bed, patting
the coverlet.  "Come sit here beside me."

Slowly, she crept closer until she perched on the mattress next to him. 
Staring at his broad chest, she let her gaze wander lower, until she reached
the bulge in his trousers.  Quickly her eyes flew back up to meet his.

"What did they tell you?" he asked.  "About a wedding night and what a husband
and wife do together?"

She licked her suddenly dry lips.  "Not much.  Mama said it would only take a
few minutes, which was good, because it meant the pain wouldn't last very
long."

"What else?"  His voice was so quiet, she wondered what she'd said to make him
angry.

"She mumbled something about blood, but that was okay the first time cause it
proved I was untouched."

"And?"

"And that's it.  She didn't say nothing else."

Jake reached out and took her hand between his huge ones.  "Kelly, didn't she
say anything specific about what was going to happen?"

She shook her head.  "She said God would take care of it."

She jumped as an oath escaped his lips.  Several more followed, but he refused
to release her hands, no matter how she wiggled or tugged at them.

"I want you to listen very closely to me.  Okay, Kelly?"

She nodded.

"There is nothing wrong or unnatural about what we're going to do tonight. 
Yes, there is always a little bit of pain and a little blood a woman's first
time, but that's all.  And you will feel pleasure."

"Isn't that sinful?" she asked.  "To feel pleasure?"

"Not at all," he reassured her.  "Now, I'm going to turn my back and take off
my jeans.  While I'm doing that, I want you to take off your nightgown and get
under the covers.  When I'm done, I'll blow out the light and join you. 
Okay?"

She nodded again.  And Jake did exactly as he said he was going to do. 
Averting her gaze, she quickly stripped off the white nightgown and huddled
beneath the dovers.  When she was safely hiddn, she risked a glance at Jake as
he walked across the room to blow out the lamp. 

His backside looked so taut and smooth.  But then he blew out the lamp and
everything was hidden in shadows as he padded back and crawled into bed with
her.

She shivered as she felt the long length of his body next to hers.  Her
shivering increased when she felt one hand come up to gently cup her breast. 
Was he supposed to touch her there?
